Is there something you’ve been praying about that you want to see shift?
Are you actively preparing the ground for this new season that you’re praying for?
What do you need to put in place? It’s imminent!
I heard the Father say-“There is a suddenly season shift coming. Are you prepared?”
It’s time to put away the things that aren’t serving you any longer and as you shift into the new God will equip you with what you need for what He is calling you to, and He wants to partner with you in this. You have a part to play as you prepare your heart so when the shift comes you are ready and God will do the rest. You will have all that you need.
He wants to prepare you with what the next step is. Don’t be resistant in this. God knows the times and seasons better than we do and He may be trying to put something in your hand now that you need for the next part of the journey. It may look different to what you expected so don’t reject it out of hand.
When the season changes suddenly you don’t want to get caught short. You want to be able to fully jump into it with both feet. You’ve been waiting a long time and it’s not about being tentative with steps but to wholeheartedly embrace it, whatever it looks like.
Matt 25: The Parable of the Ten Virgin’s
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. Then suddenly, in the middle of the night, they were awakened by the shout ‘Get up! The bridegroom is here! Come out and have an encounter with him.
We can be praying for something for a long time and get weary in the wait and take our eyes off the promises of God, but there is an opportunity today to wake up from weariness as God is coming to shake off the lethargy so you can be ready.
Do you have oil in your lamp for when your season suddenly shifts? We can’t borrow someone else’s oil but have to use the oil we have stored up. As I wrote about in another post, we are responsible for keeping the homes fires burning. How are you doing at keeping your oil topped up?
Spend time with Him and press into His presence, linger with Him and let Him prepare the soil of your heart for all that He has planted to come to fruition in this next season.
It’s going to feel sudden even though you’ve been praying about it a long time. Don’t get caught unprepared.
Wow, this so where I am right now in a place where I have to repent and refill my oil and prepare for God to fulfill promises made to me and my children made long ago, I feel the shift and sense the urgency in the wider world we all need to get back to our first love and be ready for God to move.
Thank you, Love and blessings
I’m so glad you’re encouraged and thank you for taking the time to feedback.
